Our manufacturers are certified by either AGRECO or SKAL.The certification is based on the growing and entire production cycle; thus spinning, weaving and washing etc, has to be done in an environmentally responsible way. Moreover, the fabric dyeing is also carried out to Oeko Tex 100 standards. Did you know? Approximately 2.4% of the world’s arable land is used for cotton and yet it accounts for 24% of insecticides; approximately 11% of global pesticide sales. The general public is yet to become aware that these pesticides kill wildlife e.g. 67M birds pa, a study in California found that 5/9 pesticides used on cotton cause cancer (cyanazine, dicofol, naled, propargite and trifluralin).
